No matter the disability, Guardian Angels strive to assist as many people as they can through the healing power of service dogs. They train medical service dogs to work with the challenges that may arise with many different disabilities, including PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), traumatic brain injury, seizures, glucose imbalance, mobility issues, and hearing impairment. They do not, however, train guide dogs due to the length of time the training requires. Guardian Angels have paired more than 180 trained medical service dogs with anxious and grateful recipients since 2010. At Guardian Angels, no recipient is ever charged for their service dog. The members and volunteers in this group truly are angles.
