The British Hen Welfare Trust was founded in 2005 with a mission to save and rehome commercial laying hens in the United Kingdom. The organization has been working closely with industry players to develop rehoming programs. These efforts have enabled them to rehome more than 800,000 hens across the United Kingdom.
Aside from its rescue mission, the organization seeks to improve pet hen health by partnering with vets and keepers to provide support and information about hens. This way, they can help hens live full and healthy lives.
